I think officially Line only supports up to 14 days of chat history transfer if you’re switching between operating systems. A quick Google search shows a number of third party desktop apps that tout being able to transfer the entire history, but I have not been able to find any real world success stories. Has anyone had personal experience in this area? Thanks

At least on Android there is an option per chat to “Export chat history”. This does not export any images, but you might be able to import it (one-by-one) if iOS also has this option to export?
Make sure you do this backup BEFORE you sign-in on Android, as LINE will notice you installed on a new device and it will impact your old phone LINE app workings.
NAVER LINE is notoriously horrible for preserving your chat history. Not sure why they still don’t have a proper offline export option.
Might be useful for future Android-to-Android:

I exported but the import process borked somehow and I lost everything :/
Unfortunately, the way LINE handles user data and account syncing is a complete shitshow. Best of luck.
