Hi all,
Would definitely hope you guys could take a look at our itinerary and feedback or suggest any improvements or limitations to it. All answers welcomed. Let me know if it might be too packed. This is a trip with my girlfriend.
So I’m am reaching **Osaka** on Sat 14 Oct.

Check In.
Dotonburi at night.
Day 1:
Osaka Castle, Shitennoji Temple, Namba Yasaka Jinja, Shinsekai.
Day 2:
USJ full day.
Umeda mall at night.
Day 3: To **Kyoto** early morning. Put luggage at Kyoto station.
Eikan-do Temple, Hanamioji Street, Nishiki Market.
Then roam around Gion area as a whole.
Day 4:
Arashiyama Forest, Tenryuji Temple, Sagano Railway.
Day 5:
Roam around places early morning Kyoto.
Afternoon Shinkansen to **Tokyo**. Staying around Shinjuku area.
Will Roam around Shibuya late noon/night.
Shibuya Sky.
Day 6:
Mount Fuji viewing Day Trip. (Thinking of getting a tour from Klook to see Mt. Fuji from Lake Kawaguchiko) or does it make sense to just go on this trip ourselves so we don’t waste too much time going to places we don’t want to. Just afraid of the difficulty of going to the destination.
Day 7:
Tsukiji Market, Teamlabs, Ginza mall.
(Still thinking of where else to go to.)
Day 8:
Free and easy, shopping around Tokyo. Any recommendations welcomed.
Shinkansen back to Shin-Osaka around 3-4pm.
Day 9:
Back home from Osaka Kaisai Airport.
Do let me know if I should slot in any other interesting sights in any of the days.
Also would like to hear people’s opinion on the Mt. Fuji day trip. Go ourselves or with a tour.
Lastly, does it make sense to get the JR Pass (before the price increase), as it seems we will need it for trip to and fro from Osaka/Kyoto to Tokyo.
Thank you!
