My family is trying to send yen from a foreign currency account in my home country to Japan but Im having trouble finding a bank account in Japan that accepts yen from overseas. They mostly accept dollars and euro but not yen. Anyone of you guys know any banks that accept foreign remittance of yen?

Any large Bank (UFJ, SMBC, Mizuho, Yucho) here should accept international transfer via SWIFT code. What Bank did you use that doesn’t accept them?
I have both **MUFJ (Mitsubishi UFJ)** and **SMBC (Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation)**, they both offers regular account and foreign currency account to accept foreign currency as it is when transferring over.
