I am looking for impressive, high quality illustrated books on the following areas of life in (ideally feudal) Japan for a book research:
1. living and sleeping
2. clothing
3. food
4. landscapes
Can you guys recommend any books in this regard? I really appreciate any tips, although I realize this is a very specific request.

I’m guessing you mean historical or traditional art illustrations, but the Shōwa comic series is acclaimed and offers a few different art styles capturing Japan from 1920s-1980s.
