Does anyone know any stores in the Kansai area that carry “large size” climbing shoes? Every store I’ve gone to in Kobe tells me no and will not order large shoes saying I need to go to the manufacturer specific stores if I want to order big sizes.
I wear size 45ish climbing shoes.
I can order them from REI, but I prefer to try them on ahead of time since the sizing can vary so much.

God, I know Europe’s show size is technically metric, but I never understood it and on top of it it was never consistent enough to rely on it (I had shoes varying from 41 to 43). In Japan, it is mostly 27 cm, rarely 27.5 cm.
UPD. TS, I hope you are not asking for size 45 shoes here in Japan, better use centimeters to avoid confusion.
I’ve found Amazon good for large sizes of footwear that you can try on and return free (not all – make sure they have that option mentioned)
