Hey, how is daijob for looking for a job ? My japanese is at a level now where I can work in an all japanese environment with very little problems and wanted to see what my options were. Any one use daijob at all?
It’s kind of a lower tier job searching site. They may accept more people but companies may be black or low pay.
If you’re comfortable working in a Japanese environment just use the regular job sites like Indeed and Doda
I found my job through Daijob. The site tends to have more agencies. If you’re transitioning to a different career then it might get a foot in the door. If not, you’re better off looking at Indeed and sites where you can apply to companies directly.
Daijob is only good if you are looking for an entry-level job in IT with shitty pay. There are also some pretty scummy agencies in Daijob.
Personally, I found Careercross to be a lot better and it offers a one-click apply function.
My current employer uses agencies and LinkedIn primarily. My former company used CareerCross and BizReach.
