Metsuyu expiration date


So i was gravimg some ramen, I bought some ohsawa metsuyu and then i saw the expiration date (24.8.15), it‘s 2023 now. Is this a mistake or does the date mean something else? If not, is this still edible? I doesn‘t look expired or anything.

  4. The expiration date on these is meaningless. You can use this years after the expiration date, and it will taste the same.
