Nope. 7/11 Japan and 7/11 in the US two separate companies.
7-11 Japan is a wonderland. 7-11 US is a dumpster fire.
FWIW though 7-11s in Hawaii do sell Onigiri.
I’d like to get onigiri in Canada, too!
No because the 7-11 in mainland can’t be assed to even change the hotdogs.
Nah, I’m good with Newports and Bang.
Edit: y’all are sensitive af. Stop being babies.
We had a 7-11 style store that had a bunch of international treats, including a bunch on onigiri. It shut down after three years, but I never got over my love of them. Now I make my own.
I first experienced the 7Eleven onigiri in Thailand 2018. I’ve been wishing they were a thing in the US since
For the first time, the last time, and for all time: YES!
Hawaii checking in, we have onigiri at 7-11, but then again you can find it all over Hawaii. I will add that it’s not as good as the kind found in Japan, but it’s close. There’s even a Lawson in Waikiki that sells oden!
What, you aren’t satisfied with that weird hotdog-shaped cheeseburger?
7-11 Onigiri are trash
I miss onigiri so much! Imagine the fusion fillings you could get here!
i wish 7-11 in the US had a 1/4 of the hot food options that japanese 7-11 has including the sandwiches
Warabeya, the main supplier of 7-11’s RTE foods (like the rice bowls, sandwiches, etc.) also supplies onigiri to 7-11 already. This could technically be feasible, but there’s no domestic factories producing onigiri for them.
As others mentioned, their factory in Hawaii DOES produce onigiri, hence its availability there.
Las Vegas has a part of town dedicated to Asian culture, why a Japanese based 7-11 has popped up there yet is beyond me.
I wish everh American 7-11 was like Japan’s 7-11. I can’t believe how good the food looks.
