I am interested in applying for graduate school in Japan but I have no clue where to start or even what universities I should be seeking given my credentials.
I am currently a senior (Senior year but i’m taking an extra semester to do more undergraduate research so realistically I’m a second semester Junior) as a neuroscience major and minor in computational and applied mathematics and statistics for biology (CAMS Bio). My GPA is mid. If I do well for the next 3 semesters I have, ill probably graduate with a 3.3 GPA. Given how competitive the field is, I have no clue what schools I am even in trajectory to apply at.
I am actively taking Japanese language classes, although I’m only up to intermediate Japanese I at this point. I am not sure how I would fair or even what my Japanese would be up to par by the time I graduate but ideally I want to apply to Japanese program.
With that word vomit aside, where should I begin searching or how should I start?

Take a look at the MEXT scholarship. r/MEXT is a community dedicated to it.
