Hi everyone! Any body had a problem booking visa appointments in Portugal’s online E-visa appointment? I could not book any dates at all. I checked if it was because of my flight date but seems like it’s not. I tried moving the flight date to 4 months later and still all the dates in between are fully booked. I really need help here. I have a business trip coming up in a month and a half

Just a thought… Portugal is part of the [Schengen Area](https://www.schengenvisainfo.com/schengen-visa-countries-list/) so in the worst case scenario you can apply for a Schengen-wide visa at any other Schengen country — if you modify your itinerary a bit to stop by that other country.
E.g., maybe arrive in Spain or Germany for short stay, then head to Portugal for your business meetings. In this case you can apply for the visa at the Spanish or German embassy instead.
(There are rules like the need to apply at the embassy of the country you intend to stay the longest — or if equal lengths then the country you will arrive at first, etc. — but in reality personal and business schedules can always change of course.)
