That counter Tsuji pulled off was so damn clean
Tsuji just gets it man, I feel like he can go into the main event scene pretty seamlessly already.
And Will is of course just a freak of a wrestler
They threw Tsuji into the deep end immediately after excursion and the guy has proven to be more than capable of hanging. Easily the most complete wrestler out of the Reiwa 3 at this moment in time.
Ospreay getting emotional before heading back through the curtain says it all. Felt like he’s starting to say his goodbyes now.
One of the best matches I’ve seen this year. Tsuji Yota is gonna be real special for NJPW. I can’t wait to see him winning titles.
Was Tsuji’s attire for his previous road to bouts just for Tshirt promotion?
Before, I thought Tsuji was likely “the big star” from his Young Lion era… and now it REALLY looks like it. Wrestlers with a great mix of size, personality, and skill? They consistently are big attractions in NJPW. Ospreay can carry people to great matches… but Tsuji did very well in that one. Very exciting.
This was an amazing match, with so many memorable spots and phenomenal counters…
…then it just kept going. I’m pretty sure one of them could have shot the other multiple times and there’d have been a kick-out.
Tsuji looks incredible, and has proven he’s capable of being a top guy already. Just should pace matches a little better.
It was a wonderful match! 5/5 without hesitation!
I just hope they don’t make with Tsuji what they have ended up doing with Okhan, who had all the momentum in the world but just keep losing every single match of importance.
One must strike while the iron is hot and with Tsuji they could easily make a new Naito. They should just let him win from now on as otherwise he will become another Narita, who had tons of potential but ended up back in the line because of the booking.
In any case awesome match and make me look even more forward to Royal Quest!
