So what do you think goes on here?

I feel like this match has been kinda buried amongst the title/contract matches and not really talked about. It’s third from the top of the card, so there’s gotta be some reason for it to be happening, right?

Does Shingo win and challenge SANADA after Ryogoku (presumably for either Royal Quest III or Power Struggle)?

Does O-Khan win to start building him up as the new (or temporary) UE leader because they know Ospreay’s gone in January?

Is it just a prelude to O-Khan/Cobb or HENARE being antagonists to Blast of the Dragon (Shingo & Tsuji) during World Tag League in a couple months?

Or something else?

  1. Oka should win something this decade, but the better path might be building towards Shingo/Ospreay at WK.

  2. Blast of the Dragon is the best name ever. Shingo most likely has next after Tama in terms of the Never Openweight Title but Okhan gotta win something. In terms of the card, going into the main even it should also be 1-1 for each faction with Will Ospreay winning.

  3. I’m not sure if SANADA will have another title defense but I think O-Khan should beat Shingo. They really need to give him more wins to establish him as a bigger threat and maybe United Empire’s new leader. Shingo can take losses he’ll be fine.

  4. Hopefully better than their KOPW match from earlier this year because that match sucked. Might be a prelude to Shingo challenging and finally beating Ospreay in a match that matters.

  5. This is the thing Gedo does best with his booking. Every single outcome here makes sense and can lead to something interesting.

  6. Yeah they need to do something with O Khan, feel he’s been stagnant nowadays, but yeah this probably more to set something up for Shingo
