Hi!
I’m travelling to Japan next month. My plane arrives at Haneda airport early in the morning, and the hotel checking is only at mid-afternoon. So, I’m planning to forward my luggage to the hotel and spend the day visiting Tokyo.
However, I noticed that my hotel is not on JALABC’s same-day delivery list, and looking at the Yamada service they ask for a Japanese phone number. Looking at travel blogs some people said you could use your hotel’s phone number, while others emphasized that you need to have a Japanese number on your phone.
What have your guys’ experiences been like? Were you able to use this service without a Japanese phone number?
