Question about Bachelors requirement

Has anybody previously enquired whether a bachelors equivalent would be acceptable (I believe NVQ Level 6) – or if it needs to be a degree issued from a university (or college for Americans).

Curious because I didn’t go down the uno route, instead I went more vocational course in finance.

  1. The rule is a bachelors degree, not equivalent OR 12 years experience working in that specific role.

  2. The bachelor’s degree is a visa requirement from immigration, not just a JET rule. You cannot have an educator’s visa without one.

  3. Slightly related:

I’m a bit confused by your last line of your first paragraph. The US has colleges and universities. One is just smaller, though sometimes they get used interchangeably.

  4. A bachelors degree is a non negotiable requirement for JET due to immigration requirements.

If you apply without one, your application will automatically not be considered. You have no chance of being invited to interview.
