1. Japan gets to 2024 pretty much first, so there won’t be any flights into it.

   As for the question you’re really asking, it really would help if you mentioned the starting point and destination you’re interested in.

2. If you didn’t buy your December flights yet, good luck. Even domestic stuff is going to be very expensive. I grabbed some end of dec->beginning of jan domestic stuff a couple months ago.

3. Airlines spiked prices after covid, and they won’t be coming down any time soon I think.

5. It’s become prohibitively expensive for me to visit family. In the before times I flew to the US once a year for 13~15万円. I just checked flights over Xmas/New Years and the cheapest (weekday) is 29万円. I’ll only be able to visit every 2 years at most, provided I don’t take other vacations..

   The wild part is when I flew in summer, I paid 32万円 and the flight was half empty, even business class had a ton of empty seats.

6. We bought in April to visit the US for Christmas. Price was not bad at that time but they are higher now and just getting higher. I had to adjust some things related to the flights last week and still plenty of seats available both to the US and back to Japan.

7. We got tickets to Seoul from Naha for 60,000 return each.

8. Got flights to Canada for 34万 in business class which is fairly cheap for peak season.

9. Return ticket direct to Paris is about 150000. Not too bad if you look around tbh.
