I’m unsure if 翳め飛んで行った is a word. かす appeared as furigana above 翳. However, if that is 翳む, its ます-stem is 翳み, not 翳め. I also tried a Google search for 翳み飛ぶ (with the ます-stem) but didn’t get anything. Anyone have any ideas on this?

Just need some confirmation on this usage of なる. The lack of any particle made me think “to become” isn’t the right interpretation, so I did a little searching and found this on [Wiktionary](https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/%E3%81%AA%E3%82%8B#Etymology_2):
> adnominal of なり (nari, “to be”)
Is that the usage here? If so, would the meaning remain unchanged if the なる was swapped with な (so if 冷徹 was used as a な-adjective)?
Is the usage I referenced from Wiktionary considered archaic?
I’m starting to prepare for the N1 in December, but it has been a good while since I’ve done the jlpt. I was wondering how much time I should aim to spend on a 中文 question. It’s the two-ish paragraph text with three questions.
During a practice it took me about seven minutes to comfortably read through and answer with confidence. I’m almost certain that’s probably two minutes too long.
