Questions for throwing out trash and watching football matches

I just arrived to Japan last Thursday. Here i need to take out specific trash in of specific day. My Question is do i need to take out the trash at exact 8:30am? If so it would be hard for me to get to my work at 9 and I don’t wanna be late on my first day.

My second question is how can i watch premier league here. My TV only got around 6-8 channels. In the remote there are 他上, BS, CS. Only 他上 is watchable. I believe BS and CS need subscription to watch. If I needed those subscription to watch football matches, how can I subscribe?

  1. Regarding the trash, most people take them out the days before. How early depends on the area I think. In my neighborhood it starts at around 4:30pm.

  2. If you’re meaning the English premier league football it’s not currently broadcasting on any television channels. It’s only available through an app called SPOTV NOW. You can watch on smartphones/tablets and if you want to watch on a tv you need to figure out mirroring to get it working.

  3. Use a good VPN like nord if you can get access from abroad. I watch on Peacock from the US on Nord and mirror it to my tv

  4. Depends on type of garbage. It is ok to take out garbage at night as long as it is not 燃えるゴミ. It most likely says “before” 8:30.

  5. Check out DAZN… it’s expensive… I pay like 19,000¥ for 6 months but totally worth it. I do it for the NFL game pass though. They have all premier league stuff too.

  6. Collection times varies depending on location and type of garbage. As suggested by others, put it the night before so you wont miss it.

  7. In my area it’s against the rules to take it out the night before, it must be the same day but before a certain hour. I usually wake up, take the trash out, come back home and start getting ready for the day. Definitely double check with your local municipality about the exact timing you’re allowed to take the trash out
