Hi everyone, I am asking this for a friend.
Her company went to the immigration (Tokyo branch) on the 19th of July and she doesn’t have any answer yet. I know the COE can take 3 months, but I heard that immigration was really busy this summer, and Obon made almost 1 week off for immigration staff. If we don’t count this week off, she it’s been 9 weeks.
(She is waiting for a typical International Services and stuff working visa, as a teacher in french and english.)
