Okay, so the busiest chunks are those day 2 and 3, full days in Tokyo. How realistic are they? We are mainly focused on food and generic tourism.

All of the week we are in Osaka, we can rearrange any of those days
I’m not sure if we want to visit the antique market or jidai matsuri but listed them as major events we could participate in.

I’m also interested in having a bit more of a cultural experience but not too sure where to work that in.

There’s just so much we _could_ do, how to decide what we _should_do. This is a 2020 makeup trip/ 2 graduations gift to myself, so I want it to be extra special. My boyfriend is a foodie, I like architecture, nature, and culture.

Tldr: nead help with day 2, 3 and 14 for hitting bulk of Tokyo sightseeing.
Opinions on Kyoto events during day 8 & 9 worth attending?

  1. I don’t personally recommend doing Hiroshima and Miyajima on the same day. When I visited there, I had a day in Hiroshima and a day in Miyajima and really enjoyed taking my time on the island (first ferry there and last one back). But people definitely do both in one day, I just wouldn’t personally recommend it. I wanted more time than I had in Hiroshima too.
