Anyone know of some good Japanese YouTubers/podcasts that have horror stories like Mr. Nightmare or anything of that sort? Or commentary channels? In Japanese of course. The only one that I could find so far on Japanese YouTube was PDRさん.
Search for “怖い話” (kowai-hanashi), which means scary stories, and you’ll find a lot.
[ごまだんごの怪奇なチャンネ (GOMADANGO’s JAPANESE horror channel)](https://www.youtube.com/@gomadango) — This is a popular one. A guy narrates a bunch of kowai-hanashi short stories.
You can also search for “怪談” or “ぞっとする話” or “幽霊話” or “お化けの話” and you’ll find even more.
I also like comedian 人志松本 and you can usually find his “フリートーク” free talk discussions were other celebs talk about scary stories. Do a search for “人志松本のゾッとする話” and you’ll find a bunch of results. FYI, ぞっとする / ゾッとする means to shiver / shudder from being horrified.
Check out Kyoto Robato. He’s not Japanese, but I think he lives there and covers obscure cases not known outside of Japan.

[ぁみ [怪談ぁみ語]](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2xBM0Yj71eQ) — people tell their own supernatural “怪談” stories and discuss them. Sometimes they’ll also go to scary locations.
