  1. I’d rather see Nakajima in NJPW/AEW then exclusive to AEW, while the AEaw fan base is quite familiar with the top NJPW talent, it’s not the case for NOAH.

Let him work a year in NJPW, get over and then work on an Ospreay type deal where he’s part time AEW but mostly let him shine in NJPW

  2. So NJPW can’t even get the Japanese talent anymore? The last thing AEW needs right now is another wrestler.

  3. So I follow NOAH mainly, I catch some big NJ matches but am not too educated on all the details.

What is Nakajima’s ceiling in NJPW? Jake Lee debuted in NOAH in January and is already at the top, I doubt NJPW would be able to offer that to Nakajima? Seems to me he wants to just freelance

  4. He would be a bad fit in AEW and would get lost in the shuffle quickly. TK throwing money at everyone is going to be bad for the industry as a whole.

  5. I’m okay with him doing AEW dates, better than going to WWE, but there’s money out of freelancer Nakajima

    I’m begging at this point

  6. So long as he goes to NJPW and kicks the souls out of the musketeers, I’m cool with this. Nakajima needs a bigger stage, I just watched him vs. Miyahara from July, and that’s a match that needs to be in the Tokyo dome. Free on Youtube.

  7. The state of NJPW if they can’t even get this guy, worse if they’re not even interested

  8. So he’ll sign with NJPW and do select AEW events to feel like a big deal. That’s pretty much a win/win for both parties.

  9. It’s fascinating that people are worried about NJPW not signing Nakajima, when we aren’t even sure NJPW are interested in him.

  10. “…he’s been told Nakajima is interested in coming to AEW as well.”

Nah man, screw that guy for wanting to go work in America. He should stay in Japan because we want him to!

Lol I love this sub, but you guys are ridiculous sometimes 😂

  11. Okay so the context that was lost here is that **Tony only brought up Nakajima because someone specifically asked about him.** It is clear from him mentioning that he “heard Nakajima would like to work here” that he does have his eye on him, but to me there was nothing about what Tony said that indicated he’d even spoken to Nakajima at all yet.

So maybe everyone calm down on the doomposting over shit that hasn’t even happened.
