Hello, everyone as the title states, I am a new user of SoftBank Hikari and I didn’t get the rental API. I want to use my own but the speeds are pretty bad over PPPoE. Anyone has any luck with their IPv4 encapsulated in ipv6?
I am using a Pi with OpenWRT as of now.
I saw some tuts with MAP-E but the online calculator doesn’t work. Would help a lot if I can make it work.

As the wiki here: https://www.reddit.com/r/japanlife/wiki/internet says, softbank ipv6/mape stuff isn’t standard and you need to rent their 500yen/month bbunit. if you subscribe to yahoo premium, bbunit is free.
You will not be able to use softbank’s ipv4 tunnel stuff without bbunit.
