In the US we have city-data.com which is a forum to discuss cities that we want to move to. I am not looking to move anywhere but sites like that help to understand what each city is like from anecdotal experiences and general conversation. I am looking for something like that for Japan but I can’t read Japanese so I prefer a site in English. Or I’ll just google translate everything. I was looking for details about Fukushima prefecture before the nuclear disaster but of course all that comes up is details on the aftermath.
