  1. Only because the yen is the weakest it’s been in decades. I don’t know if that really qualifies as a ‘golden period’…

  2. Good luck trying that outside of the Tokyo/Osaka hot spots.

    Houses being liabilities in most of Japan makes it one of the last bastions of affordable housing in a developed country.

    Real estate investors are cockroaches in suits. Invest in something that isn’t basic shelter, there is literally everything and anything else.
