What else should I do?

I’m not sure what I can do right now, I’ve learned most basic grammar and I study vocabulary on Anki decks, but other than that, I don’t do much to learn Japanese. I dont think i can learn through immersion just yet because I’m still below N5 level.

  1. Just buy a textbook. Do you think you’re the first person to embark on this journey? There are plenty of resources for beginners.

  2. I use bunpro for grammar and Wani kani for kanji. These two have done more for me to get from N5 to almost N3 than anything else. For listening you need specific N5 content, can’t say I know the best but Japanese pod 101 has low level content.
