Where can I get good Black Friday deals?

PC, graphics cards, laptop, all the usual things.
The US is great for these kinds of deals, but I have had no luck in previous years. This years Id really like to buy a PC, and Black Friday is coming up soon. Any help or tips?
Any places do in-store deals?
Any open-box stuff anywhere?
All i see is overpriced stuff on Amazon 🙁

  1. You can buy Black Friday deals in the US. ZipAir flies there for cheap.

    This is Japan.

  2. The only Black Friday deals you’re getting on computer components are if you buy stuff that ships to Japan on Amazon US Black Friday. As you have seen most BF deals are just the typical sales that always happen and are just called black friday.

Apple does new years sales on their products though, where you’ll get an Apple gift card if you buy specific products, but the amount you get back isn’t anything substantial.

  3. 30+ items in my Amazon cart increased prices significantly in the past 24 hours lmfao.

  4. Black Friday is an American thing, Amazon try to push it but it’s honestly garbage you don’t need.

  5. There’s been an attempt at Black Friday sales since 2018 or so. But these Black Friday sales are like… no different than the spring 決済 sales as in its more about getting rid of old stock from the previous season.

  6. Pc koubou you can pick up stupid cheap used parts. They sometimes have pretty good deals on new parts too.

  7. Damn this sub is full of useful information.

Today I learned that Japan doesn’t have the same deals as the US. That’s *wild*.

  8. Last year I moved to a new apartment around black friday and decided to wait to buy things like fridge and washing machine. The deals on amazon were decent. I still keep an eye using browser extensions and that was the cheapest that washing machine ever got. So depending on what you want to buy there’s definitely decent deals around, but for PC I’m not sure. I want to buy one this year too.

  9. BF tends to be pretty naff here. I’ve seen PC component prices inflated on Amazon a couple of weeks beforehand and lowered back during the promotional period.

Best time to buy tends to be Golden Week IMO, companies like Janpara tend to give you more money for your sold items during the period as well, which helps take the sting out. I was able to side-grade from Nvidia to an equivalent AMD card last year for about 500~1000円.

  10. Not black Friday but r/jisakupc ia good for weekly updates on deals on Akihabara (many shops will sell online too) and other info on PC parts here.
