Why would you go to Ichiran if you are in Hakata? It’s like being in NY or Chicago and going to the Outback Steakhouse.
I’m usually jetlagged the first couple of days in Japan and would get up around 3am. That’s when I would go to Ichiran. You can order the vinegar at all their locations. I didn’t know they sell coke though.
Yum! I tried it the last time I went to Tokyo. It wasn’t my absolute favorite, but I did appreciate the amount of customizations available. I think it’s one of those places you go just to see for yourself and check it off the list. However for instant tonkotsu options in the US, I do like splurging on this when it’s on sale…the broth is nice and velvety.
