21 years old. Has a nice timbre to his voice. Seems like a fan. Very happy to give this bloke a good chance to grow into the role.
Interesting that he’s starting with the STRONG PPV and specifies he’ll be doing *all* NJPW events, I guess that means probably no more Ian Riccaboni? Which is probably kind of a good thing since he wasn’t as knowledgeable of the product as he should’ve been, but he seems like a good guy and clearly had fun doing the shows.
K.K,C.C,R.R,G.G,W.S…
They are ignoring the laws of causality of the universe!
The only way English commentary can go is up. Looking forward to giving it another chance.
It sounded from the announcement like he’s still going to take indie dates. If so, it probably means he won’t be on-premise in Japan unless it’s the major events (Wrestle Kingdom, Dominion, G1, etc.)
Hopefully we still get Riccaboni, man slots seamlessly everywhere
No offense to Kevin Kelly but I’m genuinely happy the commentary team will have new blood because it has definitely been a issue for a few years
I do look forward when he fully takes over to all the wrestlers being like WHERES KEVIN!? It’ll be funny.
Will he be commentating with Chris?
Im looking forward to a new addition to the English commentary team. When is Kevin finishing up? Its going to be weird without hearing him there.
