I am an exchange student in Japan in possession of a foreigner card. I plan to board a plan tomorrow to visit my family.
Am I correct that I just need to obtain a special-entry permit in the airport and I will be fine?

As long as you return before 1 year
You fill up a form right before you go to immigration and they’ll stamp it up for you. You wont miss it.
