Buy women’s shoes for big (non-Japanese) feet?

Hey!
I’m in desperate need for new shoes for this winter – but I don’t know where to find my size.

I am a EU 40/41, which makes me about a Japanese 25/26… for women.

Do you have any idea where I could find those sizes? I think my feet are way too big.
And if u also happen to know where I could find CUTE shoes in those sizes, I’d be forever grateful 🥹

  1. Online. Shop from anywhere in the world that has your preferred shoe.

Insist on shopping within Japan? Try online shops of global retailers but honestly even those are localized and usually won’t carry the full size range.

  2. Alohas, for the pre order ones it takes some time. I’m not sure if you want dressy shoes or sneakers

  3. I’m the same size as you! Lol

The only options I’ve had is either on Amazon with Oriental Traffic which has burned me (I’ve gotten two pairs I like and two pairs that I couldn’t wear because they hurt my feet) or wait until I visit my family at home and pack with enough space to bring shoes back. I have considered going to a district and finding where drag queens get there shoes though given 26 is a pretty normal size for Japanese men. Lol

  4. I’m a size 25 and every store carries my size. Zara, H&M, abc mart, etc. pretty common. 26 might be just outside the range of some shops though, many Japanese brands/shops go to 25-25.5 for women. If it’s something unisex from abc mart or somewhere like that though then larger sizes are available. Zara and H&m goes up to 42(27.3cm)

There’s also asos which deliver to japan. And maybe if you look on each specific brand website (adidas, ugg, etc). I haven’t checked recently personally

  5. I’m 26.5. If you need shoes no problem- they have 26s. The problem is finding femme shoes. I think the only place I found explicitly femme shoes that I liked was Supure

  6. 27.5 here, basically just unisex or online. I have seen 25/26 in department stores like marui though.

  7. 26 here!

Converse and Vans carry some “unisex” stuff that leans more femme.

International sports brands are good for sneakers and other casual shoes. My gym sneaks are Puma, and previously I had Reeboks. Some of the stuff is limited sizes here though. Just depends on the style.

One I haven’t seen mentioned yet is Shimamura. Obviously not great quality but fine if you just need a pair of ballet flats to last the season or whatever.

I also like checking Mercari. Not a huge selection, but you also don’t have that much competition so you can get some good prices on stuff. Just filter for new or near new condition if used shoes skeeve you out.

  8. Marui department store’s online shop!

They will display results from multiple brands.

  9. Zozotown, marui (0101), locondo.

I like searching for shoes on the above sites using filters and then buy it using amazon prime due to the free shipping on returns, which those sites don’t have.
There is also offline&online shop called “Tulsa times” which sells genuine leather shoes, but often they are very ugly.

  10. I shop online at ASOS for more girly/cute shoes. In person, I go for unisex options like vans and dr. martens which carry the same designs in mens and womens, since I’m usually just on the cusp of mens sizing.

  11. What everyone else says: Oriental Traffic, HM, Zara, etc. And of course all the sneakers are available.
As far as I know, Diane has up to your size as well.
I’m a size 27 so I exclusively shop online (Amazon and ASOS) and have been very happy with that. On Amazon you can do ‘try before you buy’.

  12. my shoe size is 30/31 ( imagine the pain😂) I’m always buying shoes from rakuten since they have sizes. sometimes nike app too.

  13. Check out Marugo Tabirela, Vivobarefoot, etc – and other so-called “barefoot” shoes… especially if you have wide feet, you’ll thank me later.

  14. Aside from western stores, if you are into like street fashion, Yosuke goes up to like a US women’s 13 I believe. I’m a 24.5 and struggle to get heels but tennis shoes etc are no issue at the big shoe stores.

  15. I find them everywhere. Not high end shops and not fancier looking high heels, but almost every shoe store that sells size 26 and 27 for women
