Hi! Me and my Wife are travelling to Japan for 16 days (14 days of actual holiday time). We’re travelling to Japan from the 23rd November to 9th December, it’ll be our first time there, and just want to make sure that it seems doable.
Note: I’m more concerned about the overall trip rather than the itinerary for each day, and have only added a rough guide for each day to see if there’s any glaring omissions. Suggestions definitely welcome!

I think it’s a fast paced trip but I think it’s doable? Wanted to go to Hakone but couldn’t find the time.
Tokyo, Kyoto are the only places I wouldn’t want any compromise, everywhere else is up for debate, so I’d really appreciate your thoughts on whether places like Kanazawa, Hiroshima, Miyajima are worth the time. Thanks in advance for your help.

I think it’s doable. It’s packed but not too packed.
Following as it is very similar to my plans, although I’m only planning an overnight in Kanazawa.
Are you staying in one hotel or hopping?
Kanazawa , in my view, requires 2 days. Don’t forget the higashi chaya area.
Nara – why not go to Nara after Fushimi Inari. Start the climb early and then take the JR Nara line to Nara. On the way back, you can check out Uji. This gives you a day back in Kyoto.
Have a question about Day 5. Are you guys traveling from Tokyo to Osaka and then to Kanazawa or Tokyo to Kanazawa?
