Just moved into a house – was built in June, already there are cracks between the wallpaper. Don’t remember seeing them before. Wondering if anyone knows how they how this happens or if we’ll need to contact the company that made it.

you should. there are warranties from the maker for new home, and usually for 10 years long, depends on your housemaker.
I remember the housemaker told me that due to seasons / temperature changing, these things could happen and they tend to fix it but like for my housemaker it was 2years later? So it could depend on your housemaker, but asking your housemaker is the best choice here.
Wooden house, right? Those tend to move. Same for mine. When I looked in the rafters, wood pillards had some kind of springs attachments. I guess that is against earthquakes?
Normal for newly built wooden houses here.
