My first attempts at homemade sushi!


New to this, I’m happy with how these turned out.

1st picture was frozen Ahi tuna, imitation crab, pickled carrot with furikake flakes, and some sort of PF Changs spicy sauce. Not bad but the pickled carrot wasn’t the best in this. Texture was off, too crunchy.

2nd was more frozen Ahi tuna, avocado, imitation crab, and the same sauce. 2nd attempt was definitely better. Texture was great.

I have no bamboo mat, just been rolling by hand on a towel. Seems to work fine. No rice cooker either. Gonna buy one on Prime Day. Making it in the pot sucks.
