1. Honestly surprised it took this long. It’s not like the German economy is doing great either

   1/6th of the US economy though. lol

   Did see Japan falling off 3rd spot tho, will likely keep falling way down in the tens in the coming decades…

3. Because of the weak Yen? So Japan could be doing about the same and a weaker yen doing all the trick.

6. I remember there was a period that Japan intentionally weakened yen around the current level to boost the economy and exports.
