Is it illegal to watch street drifting?

I did go to watch before, and today I saw this on tweeter

>ドリフトはやる側も見てる側も逮捕の対象になりますよ!

So it make me wonder if I have committed crime.

  1. I’ve had a hard think about this.
Not just in Japan, but illegal racing and/or drifting that does nothing but damages your car and also endangers innocent people is POSSIBLY the cuntiest thing to ever happen???

A lot of forbidden things are cool, but why, WHY,
WHY do people think this is cool? I’ll never understand.

  2. The nuts and bolts are this… Yes, it’s illegal to spectate, but what is spectating? Hard to prove “spectating.” So what they do is hand out illegal parking tickets to spectators. If a place becomes a problem, they’ll go as far as putting up “no stopping” signs for certain hours.
