1. Yuya Uemura has said his one condition for joining Just 5 Guys is that he wants a singles match with each of them.

2. Need to put an actual spoiler tag on this, friend.

3. Uemura has that glorious lion mane hair that Tanahashi and Hashimoto had: clues that he’ll be the one true “Ace” of the future? Umino, Narita and Tsuji best watch their backs.

4. Uemura wanting a title shot from SANADA post-WK likely means that we’ll get Naito/Uemura as the New Beginning title challenge, maybe with an intentional callback to how Naito handed SANADA a title shot at New Beginning 2018 after he lost at WK12

   Also, did he specify it was because he has lost a singles match to DOUKI and Taichi before, and that he was mostly interested in SANADA since he was the champion? He hesitated and didn’t even say TAKA’s name which prompted some laughs (and he’s never faced him before)

5. It’s absolute insane that this guy started as a Young Lion in 2018. He’s been in the system for Five years. No wonder why he had tears in his eyes. He finally made it!
