I recently opened an olive account and I got my credit option approved.
I added the card to my Apple Pay and set my mode in credit. The very first payment was fine and it was made via credit. But further payments were made via debit. I checked my settings but it said credit. I even tried to change the settings and change it back to original, still the same.
Did anyone with an olive account face such issues?
Edit: I found the answer, for future reference if you choose iD payment method it pays by debit at default, no matter you have settings are in credit.
You have to say credit card while paying at register for the payment to go through via credit, don’t say iD or just use the physical card where tap pay is not available.

Did you use “iD” as payment for the other payments made via debit mode?
SMBC doesn’t do a good job of explaining this, but it matters what network is used when you tap. “Visa” or “credit” tap will go through as whatever you’ve set, but “iD” tap will always go through as debit. I have no idea why this is, but it’s an issue they have.
