1. Glad to see Eagles with Fujita instead of Tiger Mask.

2. Lotta people are gonna absolutely *hate* the Gooch/DKC team lol.

   Wonder who YOH’s partner is (the write up on the site makes it clear it’s not Lio). The only regular roster member who isn’t otherwise occupied is Tiger Mask, yeah?

   Although Im a big ass Robbie fan I really want Titan to win a title in Japan so I’m roll with LIJ throughout the tourney

7. I’m interested to see Despe & Wato against HoT, wonder what Despe reaction against Nobu is going to be.

8. Nice to see Fujita back, but would have preferred a new member for TMDK. Robbie isn’t likely to win the Jr title anytime soon so having a regular tag partner would have been good for him.

   Besides Rocky, who do we expect to be YOH’s partner? Oku, Slater?

    *25th Korakuen:* JetSetters vs War Dogs, Wato/Despe vs LIJ

    *26th Saitama:* LIJ vs War Dogs, Wato/Despe vs Ichiban Sweet Boys

    *28th Fukushima:* JetSetters vs LIJ, Wato/Despe vs War Dogs

    *30th Niigata:* LIJ vs Catch 2/2, JetSetters vs Wato/Despe

    *11/1 Ishikawa:* Wato/Despe vs Just 2 Guys, Catch 2/2 vs HoT

    11/2 is Final Block night with order TBD

    Top teams are Wato/Despe with four mains and one semi, LIJ and War Dogs each with two mains and three semis, and JetSetters with one main and three semis.

    Bonus stat: The only night that GuchCox aren’t the first tourney match is the opening night, where they’re the third (vs Wato/Despe).

11. Solid, but little bit disappointing that there is no outside tag team.

12. Every time I see X I just assume that it’s Kojima. He might need to lose a couple of pounds tho.

13. That looks like a really good line-up. The SJTL is generally quite a fun tour and the tag matches have generally been one of the highlights of shows since Catch 2/2 got involved. DKC/Taguchi will be the goofball team, your mileage will vary on that depending on personal tastes, but I’d say every team has something interesting about it.

15. Interesting that they’re already bringing Fujita back for this tournament. I don’t think they’ve used someone mid-excursion for a tournament in recent memory. While both were on excursion, Narita came back for the Shibata match at WK and Hiromu did Fantasticamania, but that’s all I can think of.

16. Really disappointed with no ace austin & Chris bey.

    They were my favourite part of the tournament last year.

17. I’m a little bummed that Ace Austin and Chris Bey aren’t in it this year. The lineup is still great tho.

Kinda surprised that Hiromu is skipping the tour since it’d be a perfect way to set up future title defences, but if they could get Titan over then I’m keen for that tag tram to get some reps in in case they’re winning the titles at WK. Although if Ishimori is the Power Struggle defence then it’s not necessary – RIP to my Hiromu/DOUKI dream

    Taguchi/DKC could be the perfect way to introduce him/debut post-excursion, keen to see how they do. Maybe it’s a case of a team where DKC is the focus so hopefully he kills it

    Real happy to see Robbie and Fujita too, and mad curious to see YOH’s new partner – maybe someone from Revpro?

    What do we think the finals will be? I’m assuming that it’ll be Catch 2/2 vs Jet Setters and BUSHI/Titan will score a win over the champions, leading to a 4-way between them at WK

    I’ll be rooting for Catch 2/2 all the way, though.

23. I wonder if X was supposed to be Lio and Lio got sicker than it seemed. Best wishes to Lio. And I wonder if X will end up being a full time chaos guy.

    Kind of bummed we don’t get Ace Austin and Chris Bey this year. Besides catch 22 they were my favorite team to watch last year.

    Would have been pretty cool to see MCMG compete this year after their excellent showing at Destruction. But that’s two of impacts top guys so I totally get why that can’t happen.

    Should be fun though. Rooting for Catch 22 or an unlikely TMDK win!

    Those might be the favourites. Making the R3M the 100th tag champs would be a great idea.

25. I thought for a second Yuma would have been a JR but oh well.

    Shame really because I want Douki to get a push, think he’s way better than people realise but he has t been given a shot.
