  1. So i’ve made my own yakitori grill, but can’t for the life of me figure out how they do it so the damn stick doesn’t burn off. Yes, i’ve definitely soaked the skewers in water, but binchotan is so hot that evaporates quickly and the sticks end up burning.

    I can’t do it without a mesh grill on top of the steel because I’m afraid they’ll just fall in.

    I also don’t know how they keep those bars sanitary.
