Windows 11 日本語版. What does it mean?

Has anyone purchased windows 11 日本語版 for their PC? Im talking about the one that comes with an usb key.

What does “Japanese edition”‘ mean? You can only install it in Japanese and not change the language?

It just come with built-in Japanese language pack. You can always download English language pack.

The default encoding will be shift-jis, so if you open the cmd line you’ll have the yen symbol instead of \. Default encoding will be fucked when you share files, so you’ll have to manually set these.
Otherwise not much changes.
