  1. My first laptop was a Toshiba. 12 years old and still going fine. More recent laptops I have bought didn’t last me that long

  2. >The bid was intended to allow Toshiba to sever ties with overseas activist shareholders, who it says were only seeking short-term returns.

Sounds like a good decision to me

  3. I’ve a 10 year old Toshiba washing machine. It’s a beast that keeps on going.

  4. I remember my first Toshiba laptop with brownish liquid filled display. It was like buying a car back then and took a couple of weeks for delivery. Ahhhhhh…Toshiba…we’ll always have MSdos!

  5. I believe that our role as a foreign currency earning company has ended. The rest will be dismantled and the semiconductor division etc. will be merged with other companies.I also think that there are several other companies in Japan like Toshiba that need to be dismantled.
