21 Day Itinerary check – Tokyo, Kyoto, Naoshima, Osaka, Nara, Takayama, Kanazawa

Hey everyone!
I’m super excited about my upcoming trip and I’d love to hear your thoughts on my itinerary. There are so many things I want to do, like attending Tokyo Design Week and attending to some Halloween events, but I’m afraid I might miss out on other great stuff or not have enough time! If you have any suggestions or recommendations, please feel free to share! Thanks a bunch! 😊

  1. 26 feel like 2 days, not 1.

    Kawaii Monster Café closed.

Nakano Broadway is not in Akihabara, it’s west of Shinjuku.

    Pontocho is not a market.

  2. I think you are trying to cram in way way too much. On Thursday the 26th your itinerary sounds like at least two, but probably three days of sightseeing. Just reading it makes me feel tired and my feet hurt.

At the least I think you need to consider the order you are doing things – Senso ji to skytree is a 30 minute walk, then 30 minutes back in the opposite direction to Denboin and Kappabashi?

Putting locations in google maps and seeing where they are relative to each other, and how far apart, and just how enormous inner city Tokyo is, is a very good start.
