Not sure about that part in bold. Like what even is 互の申し分?

Context: A magician turned some coal into gold. The audience wants the gold but the magician will turn it back into coal. They ask the magician if they can wager the gold in a card game.

I think this says something like, “But, if we win, please hand the gold as it is over to use. If that happens [???????], won’t we be extremely satisfied.”

    But IDK

  3. I’m thinking of getting into Japanese literature. I’ve read one essay from Yoshimoto Banana called “美しさ.”

Anyone have any recommendations? I’ll probably buy 白河夜船 but idk any authors other than Yoshimoto. I’m only about an N2 level, so some easier stuff wouldn’t hurt but anything is ok.

  4. Hope this is the right spot, I’d like to ask for these sentences to be checked if they are correct or not. I’ve only been learning a few days and in terms of gammer, I’ve only really learnt particles wa, wo, ni and ga

I’m mostly unsure about the second sentence. Thanks

    • As for Sakura, she eats cake

    • As for me, I bought cake for Sakura

    • As for cake, I will buy it
