Over the past two months, I have been submitting my CV to job agents and various companies. All the job agents have rejected my CV without providing any reason, and only two companies have responded. Just recently, I was rejected by a startup company after four rounds of interviews. I am fluent in English and can speak conversational Japanese. Although I have a valid working visa for Japan, I currently reside in my home country. Given the challenges in securing a job in Japan, I’m uncertain about relocating. Should I move to Japan first and then start my job search? Should I include my visa status on my CV?

If you’re looking in a specific area like ML, I would *not* move to Japan without something in hand.
What’s your experience? What companies are you applying to? There are many people on this board who can offer you some tips if we have more detail.
You say you have a valid working visa for Japan, but you also say you’re having difficulty in securing a job in Japan? I’m a bit confused here.
