Type of degree

It’s clear enough to me that to move and work in Japan, you need a degree to get a visa. My question is: what type of degree? Only a bachelor’s degree from a University or could it be any other type of degree?

My field is “niche” and specific enough to not find a lot of academic opportunities at a college level.

So do I have any other options?

Thanks in advance.

  2. It really depends. In the absence of a well rounded education (bachelor’s degree) immigration would want to see that you’ve gotten either an industry appropriate education, sufficient experience, or some other verifiable achievements in the field. The work would need to be of a type that’s capable of visa sponsorship as well.

    So what is your field?
