Hi, I was doing Anki 10 min ago and this question just popped into my head, what’s your longest words in terms of Hiragana/Katakana that you know of that contains the least amout of kaji?
I know there are some old religious (shinto or buddhism) readings of certain kanji that get immensely long, but I don’t remember any in particular right now.
詔 (みことのり) is one that hasn’t been mentioned yet. Also there’s some weird kanji that aren’t really used with long readings on this site here [http://www.akatsukinishisu.net/kanji/nagakun/](http://www.akatsukinishisu.net/kanji/nagakun/).

For 2 kanji the longest I know is 懐刀(ふところがたな)
婢 – めのこやつこ
6 syllables
昔話 (むかしばなし) is another fairly lengthy one
