2 Week Itinerary Check – First Time in Japan

Hey all,

I realise myself and my mate won’t be able to do everything here (that’s what a future trip is for, right?!), but it would be much appreciated getting some feedback. I’ve tried to make things as relatively chilled as possible to allow for spontaneity, but with this being our first time it’s hard to gauge! I’ve not put any restaurants/izakayas/bars down, so any that might be worth checking out would be more than welcome. We’re also big Ghibli fans so if there’s anything worth seeing I’ll add it to the list (we were unable to get museum tickets, unfortunately).

**Friday, 10th November** Tokyo

\- Arrive at Tokyo Haneda from London at 8:45am
\- Drop bags off at hotel (Takadanobaba in Shinjuku)
\- Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building / Explore
\- Check into hotel
\- Out for an early dinner

**Saturday, 11th November** Tokyo

\- Imperial Palace (Chiyoda City)
\- Tokyo Station
\- Akihabara (Bic Camera, arcades etc)
\- Tokyo Tower
\- Evening in Golden Gai

**Sunday, 12th November** Tokyo

\- Late afternoon in Yokohama
\- Gundam Factory
\- Evening in Yokohama Chinatown

**Monday, 13th November** Tokyo

\- Potentially Hakone or Chureito Pagoda to see Mt. Fuji (other suggestions welcome!)
\- Evening somewhere in Tokyo

**Tuesday, 14th November** Tokyo

\- Evening somewhere in Tokyo
