We have booked two tickets to asagiri jam, but we don’t speak Japanese and the logistics are a bit challenging.
We are trying to get there from Kyoto and have a few questions.
What time does festival actually open? Can we arrive on Friday? We have rented a tent, but the festival says two nights camping hire and we are assuming that this is Friday and Saturday. Or is it Saturday and Sunday?
We are used to festivals opening the day before- but maybe everyone arrive on Saturday morning for asagiri Jam?
Also, we saw the festival announce that bookings for the festival shuttle bus were extended. We just tried to book this from Kyoto station but it doesn’t seem possible. Has the second release sold out too?
We are also fine with taking the shuttle bus from shin-Fuji to the festival but can’t figure out how to do that either
Can anyone help us?

CAMP SITE A is open from Sat 10am to Sun 8pm. CAMP SITE B is open from Sat 10am to Mon 10am.

Foe bus access, the official reservation period ended last Friday, but the Shin-Fuji bus is still shown as buyable. Just took a brief look at the site and it looks like all the camping areas are open from 10am on Sat. So camping for two nights would be Sat and Sun.
All bus plans seem to be sold out. But the one from ShinFuji is available. But you should email and check as technically the sales period ended on the 9th.

Thank you both. That’s really helpful. Are we allocated a campsite (either a or b) when we purchased tickets, or is that something.we can choose when we arrive?
I can’t see anything about campsite a or b on our tickets.
