Hello everyone, my first wedding anniversary is coming soon and I want to surprise my wife with a dinner and something nice/ romantic, problem is, I am not very good at picking food our being romantic ( I know, shocker) so I came to you guys with my problem, what would be your top pick restaurants/ gifts ideas in Tokyo, any area within 30 min of ikebukuro is fine.
Btw my wife is Japanese and she loves different kinds of foods, but she can’t eat oily food.

Where did you take her for your first restaurant date? That’s always sweet, and often not that expensive. Congrats on a year! First anniversary is paper anniversary, btw. Give her a photo book of your best moments this year, and you could take her to a crepe shop & still get Husband Points. If she’s sentimental, lol.
You could take her on a sunset dinner cruise.
