What would you pick in your Chirashi bowls?


These are my fave – ootoro, scallop, squid and uni 🤤

  1. Tuna (likely chu-toro as I find o-toro is too fatty in that amount), sockeye salmon, hamachi, tako, madai and tobiko.

  2. Salmon, squid, whelk, uni, mackerel, surf clam, white tuna (albacore not escolar), and tamago. 🥰

  3. Salmon belly, amaebi, yellowtail and fatty tuna topped with a dollop of uni… perfection

  4. Looks good to me…. I’d love that bowl, but it would be even better if it had botan ebi,some engawa, and some ikura…

  5. Uni + Ikura (the mirin cured stuff not the salty brine stuff)

    Bonus: before putting the uni + ikura

    Crack a raw egg into the freshly steamed rice, add soy sauce, and bonito+ seaweed flakes, mix it until u got flavorful egg bonito rice.

    Then add uni and ikura on top.
